Relationship Problems - The Signs | The Solutions

Relationship investigations generally focus around uncovering the facts in relation to a cheating spouse or partner.

Many people still hold the view that the it is man in a heterosexual relationship that would be most likely to become the unfaithful one, but today in the UK men and women are almost equally as likely to stray into an illicit relationship. Statistics show that infidelity can figure at some time in almost 80% of marital relationships, so with figures this shockingly high, it should come as no great surprise that investigation requests in this area are on the increase.

There have always been several classic signs that tend to indicate that a partner could be cheating, but in the modern world, with technology offering so many new ways for cheating couples to communicate, the list of potential 'cheater indicators' grows ever longer:

  • There is a distinct change in sexual habits. This maybe a sudden decrease or increase in activity and/or a change in technique
  • Your partner suddenly pays more attention to their personal grooming and fitness
  • There is a sudden increase in your partners' working day that keep them away from the home, albeit they do not seem to be earning any extra money
  • Their mobile phone is kept close at hand 24 hours a day and they are deleting all of their phone history
  • Your partners attitude has changed towards you and they often seem distant
  • They have suddenly started socialising more and their plans never seem to include you
  • They seem to spend hours on the Internet late at night or after you have gone to bed

If any number of the above indicators strike a cord with you then it may well be time to investigate the matter further. By employing our professional services you will be taking steps to take back control of your personal circumstances. An investigation will enable you to make an informed decision with regard to your relationship.

Modern investigations don't just rely on physical surveillance undertaken by investigators. Mission Investigations has access to the latest electronic surveillance technology and these can assist in obtaining the best evidence. We also hire some electronic surveillance equipment (see our Equipment Hire section) at reasonable rates. We have found that the gathering of both intelligence and evidence by use of such equipment ensures that the investigative process is more efficient, effective and as a general rule reduces the overall costs of the investigative process.

We operate on an hourly rate basis and specify an industry standard minimum of 4 hours plus time of travel to and from for each investigator deployed on a physical surveillance. A mileage rate applies after the first 20 miles (this includes travel to and from a surveillance venue). Standard video/stills evidence will be provided at no extra cost (one DVD) after the total investigation costs have been met. If additional DVD's are required or special requests need to be addressed, then there may be additional fees and this will be decided on a case by case basis.
